Days come and go and raindrops keep falling. The sun still shines each gorgeous day and the moon still glows in the night sky. I’m still here – walking, shuffling and sometimes running – though not as fast as Mario Balotelli or Kun Aguero.
Magnificent Mancini and his Fabulous Artists of Manchester City has finally arrived noisily – sending the Purple Nose and his Red Devils into the gloomy doom of Netherworld. What an end to an epic season! The Blue Moon is rising and would orbit the Premier League for some time yet (possibly years) – perhaps with brighter glow of a sky-blue tint. And oh – congratulation to another blue team – Chelsea – for keeping the Maestros of Tiki-Taka Barcelona and the German Tactical Machines Bayern Munich out of the equation this time around. Next season you’ll have Kompany and Gang for company.
Before the Blue Storm – my family and I have been staying at Taman Nirwana in Ampang for 18 plus years. I’ve walked each street and knew almost every tree and lamp posts on every corner of that residential area. But in early May 2012 , we have moved to a nearby area and would start a new chapter in our domain of life.
I’ve sprained my right ankle when I fell down the stairs of my old place while moving some items (4 wooden stools). Perhaps our old hideout was saying goodbye in its own way. I am much better now and could walk properly but I would not be able to trail David Silva or Samir Nasri – certainly I would not try to dribble past De Jong!
We have to leave our cat ‘Gadis’ at our old haunt for a while – we were afraid she might not be able to familiarize herself with a new environment. We’ve been checking on her daily for the past few weeks – she is still lazing around in front of our old door, perhaps waiting for us to come home like we always did. Perhaps she was wondering why there were strange people there. I’ve told the new owner that Gadis is a lovely creature. Anyway, we hope to pick her up sometime soon…
For the past couple of months, I’ve been meaning to write but my job would usurp all my time during the day and by nightfall I would be busy entertaining my family especially my kids – home works, dinners, outings, movies, shopping, etc, etc. No complain though because I’ve been loving it since time immemorial.
And there are good friends to see too – good, honest, warm and sweet people. I would certainly be their friend in a thousand lifetimes – no doubt about it, for they are very special beings.
Talking about beings, there are beings I would rather not see in any lifetime : those aggressive, loud, boisterous, rambunctious, egocentric and self centred beings. But what do you expect from ‘beings’? They are just being beings…
My work on the 13 episode animations for our local TV Station RTM entitled ‘Bayu’ is done. I’m now on an animation 90 minute television movie project.
Perhaps this year I’ll embark on a live action movie as well – with some animation and/or visual FX of course!
In the mist of time – I shall walk the long and winding road – even as I do not know where it would lead me to. It does not really matter – as long as raindrops would keep falling and my world is still KOOL…
And you lovely Netizens – please be KOOL too!
